I have captured this pair of 'Bateleur Eagle' (Terathopius ecaudatus) in Kruger National Park during our morning game drive. I always prefer early morning light due to its soft 'GOLDEN HOUR' light and here I was lucky. I saw this bird before here in TN captured in Zoo (not all photographers) but personally I never take picture in Zoo, so it was my wish list definitely to capture this bird in its natural habitat. I was lucky, in one shot I could show you this species from front and back side.

* It is endemic here in Africa.

I have already posted juvenile Batleur picture which I captured in my recent trip to Kruger. This time I was lucky to get so many adult and juvenile in Kruger.

Hi Srikumar,

Thanks for sharing the image of such majestic birds. Nice sharp photo with lovely details. The catch light on both bird's eyes is bonus.

Hello Srikumar,
You have presented to us two beautiful eagles in both front and rear poses. Nice to see their colorful markings in a single image. The focus is tac sharp and the colors rich yet natural looking. Wonderful eye contact and perfectly exposed.
