Three - Banded Plover (Charadrius tricollaris)

I have captured this 'Three - Banded Plover' at Marieval Bird Sanctuary, early in the morning, just after the Sunrise. Very small bird, so difficult to frame to show its own world. First POV which is very important to me and here I took ground level shot. Next is white feathers which gets overexposed quickly even gets bit light. So it was a challenge to me to chose perfect exposure. This bird was collecting insect in the marshland and I took this picture lying on the ground to get perfect background which is water body.

It is a 18 cm bird in length. This Plover is resident in eastern and southern Africa and Madagascar 莞.

Hi Srikumar,
the expert at work ! Thanks for explaining the issues with a good bird shot. You might have added that used the morning light.
Best regards, Dietrich
