Where the story left off yesterday, mom suddenly moved away from the nursing pups and stared off to the distance and listened intently. We could see or hear nothing for some time, then saw a beautiful coyote coming in from the opposite direction that mom had come earlier. I love the photo of him approaching through the sage.

In this photo one of the pups is greeting dad. We were just thrilled at our luck at seeing the whole family and their interaction with each other.

Hi evelynn,
A wonderful look at these Coyote in the wild.
They obviously haven't seen you or are just not bothered by your presence.
I felt the image could do with a little PP to offset the 'bleaching' effect of the harsh sunlight,so I've done a wee workshop for you.
Hope you like it.

Hi Evelynn,

Another beautiful picture of the coyote family! Nice fluffy fur. Well focussed. Contrast between the rock and shrubs add to the overall beauty. Best part is of course the facial expression of dad and the excitement of the pup.

hello evelynn,
nice shot of the family, well composed, perfect timing, good focus, liked the pov too,
tfs & regards

Another perfect stunner, Evelynn. Another incredible capture with that long lens combo. And another great capture of the critters and their camoflage. I just have one catty comment... "What happened to the wide shots showing the animals in their habitat?" This close up is definitely sellable.

Hello Evelynne
the photograph is adorable and delightful, I am surprised of quality in spite of extension, I tried with my 400 mm but my pics arent not neat even with the tripod
good shot and very nice composition,

nice capture, the frame is needless. TFS Ori

These shots belong somewhere where more people than just us TN'rs have access to them! Such a great series of images documenting the family life of these creatures...really wonderful Evelynn, you should be very proud. The setting, detail and timing are all perfect.

tenderness between the parents and the pups or baby animals

great photo, i like the framing and i will write again
your photo shows that the wild animal has the same
color of his natural habitat to do camouflage
to hunt or to protect himself againt's predators

Hi Evelynn.- I like your photo so much. Exelent momento you cauth here. Luis52.

Hi Evelynn,
I thought it was time to cath up on some of your photos. I feel I've been ignoring some of your photos.
The expression on dad's face is very familiar to me. When my parents still had dogs the oldest would also look like this when the youngest wanted great her. To me it always looks like the older one doesn't really know how to act. They want to be all happy but know they have to be carefull with the puppy.
The details in this photo are very beautiful and the lighting is perfectly controled, eventhough I find that the shadow areas are a too black.

Hi Evlynn,a lovely pics,beatifull nature.Well done

Evelynn ...you are working for National Geographic now???
This is very cute, and so very well timed.
