|Technically not a good photo, but the only shot I had at capturing these cute little owlets. These young Great Horned Owl owlets made quite a stir with the birders up at Magee Marsh this spring. |
There was always a large gathering of people staring high up into the tree in hopes of getting just a glimpse of these two young Great Horned Owls.
This particular day they were sitting side by side just outside their nesting cavity. The sun was directly overhead as I tried to photograph them through a maze of tangled branches.
I literally had to stand on a railing in order to find an angle in which they were not partially hidden by either leaves or branches.

The tree is framing well the birds. The point if view is showing the details of the Great Horned Owl owlets. The pale sky doe not hurt the output of the colors of the birds. Have a nice day.

Hi Ron,no problem for the quality, you works in the best way in this terrible backlight, the sky is white but the details of the young couple are very very good,a beautiful capture,i like it! Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
None is correct technically, except Mother Nature herself. Well captured even in such difficult BG. Good details and color.
Thanks for showing their beautiful appearance,
Regards and have a nice WE,
A Great shot of these Owls. I think you did a superb job capturing them under difficult circumstances as described. Nice detail and colors.
