A Solitary Bee (thanks to Paul who has informed me that that I believed to be a wasp is not one but that it is a Solitary Bee.
You can go at this site talking about Solitary Bees

I took these photos on October 31st and I wonder since what sort of bee it is. I decided to post it for Ricardo's hundredth, recognized amateur of variously bees .

Until now, 100 of 104 photos resulting from Argentina were sent by Ricardo. If an image is worth one thousand words, Ricardo wrote us here a fabulous chapter of a book on the recent natural history of his country. I believe that we have to be grateful to him for it. Thankx for have stayed on TN, Ricardo, ready for another chapter?

I hope that you like it.

I placed a fourth photo for Ricardo in my workshops . Only he has the right to look at it ;-)

The distinction between wasp and bee can be a little fuzzy so it is easy to get confused. This one looks like a solitary bee to me and there are many species.

Very nice set of three Luc, well done.

This is excelent work. In my own opinion, I would have rather have seen one instead of three in one. I like close ups that you folk do, it makes one enter a whole different world in macro photography. I liked viewing your fourth photo because it was large, crisp, detailed.
Well done

Luc, I really like this LP version although I have not used it myself. Maybe it's time. Great presentation with this today. Well done!

Super 3 shots. Nice DOF, colors and sharpness.
If the fourth photo is the same quality, Ricardo should be very proud, that only he has privilege to look at it.

Beautifull LP, Luc. I think that most bees have shaggy rear legs for collecting pollen. Wasp rather not.
Pts later.
