Yesterday we were walking in The Botanic Garden with my oldest friend nicknamed Pozioma. I think we were in this place together hundreds times during our 30 years old friendship. Now we are staid men with own families etc. [ha,ha,ha it's so funny and so untrue ;-)] At least yesterday we didn't do anything funny and stupid like hundreds times before :-) Back to my tale - so we were walking slowly [as staid men should do] - sorry for digression - did you read 'Three men in a boat(to say nothing about dog) by Jerome K. Jerome? If not try this link - http://www.litrix.com/3menboat/3menb001.htm - we're similiar kind of men with Pozioma - always ready to do something stupid, funny and childish ;-) Anyway - back to tale! - so we were walking and laugting and talking about botanic [nature is favourite topic to both of us, Pozioma prefers plants, especially maples, I like insects, spiders and natural poisons more ;-)]. We went to area when all herbs will grow in next few weeks. Datura, Belladonna, Mandrake, Hemlock... We're joking that all these plants are edible, but after eating 90% of them you're dead :-) We saw bunch of deers again, found many interesting flowers, but no insects [it was too cold]. Pozioma is walking treasure chest with infos about all plants and flowers, so time passed fast, too fast. What I try to say in my chaotic and silly note? Take care of your friends and frindship. They're priceless.

Hello Greg!
Very nice close up.I liked POV,colors,3D effect,DOF,framing and
composition a lot.TFS...:-)

Thank you Greg for your digression, but I think the moral of the story must be that for once you and your friend, Pozioma, acted like serious, staid, old men. Yes, at 33, you are getting old!
And another moral must be, not to eat many of the plants in the Botanic Garden at Lodz!
But you present us with these beautiful snowdrops. Thank you for this pretty bouquet! And have a good day!!
Janice

Hi Greg, your statement is so true and I think your photo is a great tribute to friendship, you can never have too many friends. Nice shot well done.
All the best.
Dean.

Hi Grzegorz,
great picture, great story.
Outstanding macro with very good colours and details,
and a very good idea to show a large close up of the blossom,
and the plants in complete in a distant, but well visible BG.
Thank you! Enjoy the flowers. But don't eat too many of them.
Best wishes,
Peter

Hi Grzegorz ,
What a beautiful shot. Details, sharpness and POV are very good. Congratulations...

Hi Greg,
One of those late nights.
Well worth a big green :)
Thanks for posting, have a great weekend.

Hi Greg,
A great read, and the photos pretty darn good too. Very nice saturated colors and sharp detail. Nice that there is enough detail in the flowers in the backround to accent the main subject.
Scott

Hi Greg,
Nicely exposed, with a DOF that isolates your subject very well from the BG flowers..Sharp, detailed and well composed...Sounds like you had a great time yesterday. Very nicely done.

Privet Greg.
In Moscow too for insects still coldly. The composition has liked. It is a photo it was possible to name in a word - it was separated. There is a word in Russian, but I cannot translate.
